Outdoor Telecom & Network Equipment Cabinets
Weatherproof cabinets for 5G and 4G radio equipment, baseband units, transmission gear and site batteries: thermal management, sealed doors, equipment rails and finishes built for permanent outdoor service at base stations and roadside sites.
Site Cabinets Judged Over a Decade of Weather
A telecom cabinet has one of the hardest lives in any enclosure category: constant heat load, no maintenance schedule it can rely on, and a replacement visit that costs more than the cabinet did. Reliability is engineered into the metal — sealing, drainage, thermal path and door hardware.
We build the cabinet shell to your thermal and equipment layout. Your radio, transmission and power hardware and its type approval stay with you; we make sure the enclosure does not become the weak point.

Materials, Finishes & Customisation
External structure
| Galvanized steel SECC / SGCC | 1.2-2.0 mm — standard for outdoor site cabinets with coated cut edges |
| Cold-rolled steel SPCC | 1.5-2.5 mm — where a heavier coated structure is preferred |
| Stainless steel SUS304 / 316L | 1.0-2.0 mm — coastal, offshore and chemically aggressive sites |
| Aluminum | 2.0-3.0 mm — weight-limited pole and rooftop installations |
Thermal & weathering
| Filtered ventilation | Fan panels with removable filters and rain-shedding geometry |
| Internal insulation | Liner panels for cabinets that need to hold a temperature differential |
| Rain management | Sloped roof, drip edges and a base that drains rather than holds water |
Customisation
| Equipment mounting | 19″ rails, DIN rails, mounting plates, battery shelves and seismic brackets |
| Cable management | Bottom and side entry, gland plates, brush seals, spare knockouts, earth bar |
| Site accessories | Antenna brackets, GPS mount points, service light brackets, sensor bosses |
How This Product Moves Through the Workshop
Site cabinets are built to be serviced, so door geometry, latch alignment and rail position are checked as carefully as the shell itself. Panels are laser cut including louvres, gasket reliefs and cable openings, formed on CNC press brakes, welded into a rigid frame, then coated before sealing and hardware assembly. Completed units are fit-checked and packed with corner protection.
- Drawing review with DFM feedback before production release
- Fiber laser cutting of the complete flat pattern in one set-up
- CNC press-brake forming, welding and grinding
- Coating applied before gaskets, hardware and glass are fitted
- First-article and sample inspection recorded for each batch

Common Questions About This Product
We manufacture the enclosure features your thermal design calls for — filtered fan panels, louvre banks, air-conditioner openings, heat-exchanger interfaces and insulated wall panels. The thermal calculation and the selection of cooling equipment stay with your engineering team, and we will build to the resulting drawing.
With filtered ventilation, IP54 to IP55 is the normal target. Where the equipment allows a fully sealed enclosure, higher protection is achievable. Any formal IP verification testing is carried out by you with your chosen test house.
Yes. Rack rails, DIN rail plates, battery shelves and cable trays are standard internal features we manufacture. Send the equipment dimensions and the rail pitch you need and we will position the mounting features accordingly.
For coastal sites we would normally propose stainless steel for the external structure, or galvanized steel with heavier coating and sealed cut edges. The deciding factors are distance from the coast, prevailing wind and whether salt-laden air reaches the site directly.
Yes. Site rollout programs are usually handled as repeat batches with fixed tooling, inspection records and packing standard so every delivery matches the last. Tell us the annual volume and the release schedule and we will quote against that rhythm.
