Energy Storage Cabinet Enclosures & Battery Cabinet Shells

We fabricate the empty metal enclosure for battery energy storage systems, C&I storage cabinets and rack-based battery modules: body, doors, plinth, ventilation and cable entry, engineered for outdoor or container installation. Electrical design, cells, BMS, inverter and system certification remain with you.

Product Category

What We Build for Energy Storage Projects

An energy storage cabinet fails outdoors long before it fails electrically: water ingress at the gasket line, condensation on cold metal, a door that drops on its hinges after 500 openings, a plinth that rusts in a coastal yard. Those are sheet metal problems, and they are the ones we are set up to solve.

We supply the fabricated shell only. You keep the electrical scope: cells, modules, BMS, PCS, thermal management and the system-level certification of the finished unit. That boundary is written on every quotation so there is no ambiguity at inspection.

How This Product Moves Through the Workshop

Your drawing or 3D model is reviewed for bend radii, gasket-channel geometry, door sag and cable access before anything is cut. Laser cutting produces the panel set, CNC bending forms the frame and skins, welding and grinding build the body, then powder coating, gasket fitting and hardware assembly follow. Each batch is checked for dimensional accuracy, door alignment and gasket compression before export packing with corner protection and desiccant.

  • Drawing review with DFM feedback before production release
  • Fiber laser cutting of the complete flat pattern in one set-up
  • CNC press-brake forming, welding and grinding
  • Coating applied before gaskets, hardware and glass are fitted
  • First-article and sample inspection recorded for each batch

FAQ

Common Questions About This Product

Yes — that is exactly the scope we work in. We fabricate the enclosure body, doors, panels, base and internal structural parts. Cells, BMS, PCS, wiring and the certification of the finished energy storage system are supplied and certified by you.

Protection is a design outcome of the gasket system, ventilation choice, cable-entry sealing and door hardware. We build to the IP level your project specifies — commonly IP54 to IP55 for outdoor cabinets, with higher levels achievable when the ventilation strategy allows a sealed envelope.

We form the features that the thermal design needs: louvre banks, filter frames, fan and air-conditioner cut-outs, duct flanges and condensation drain points. The thermal sizing and the choice of cooling equipment stay with your engineering team.

Yes. For coastal or humid installations we would normally propose SUS304 or SUS316L for the external structure, or galvanized steel with a heavier powder coat and sealed edge treatment on all cut faces. Please state the site conditions with your enquiry so the material is right the first time.

Yes — send photographs, a sample panel or a dimensional sketch. Our engineers reconstruct the geometry, propose the same or an improved material and return drawings for your confirmation before production.
